He is a Professional Engineer specializing in hydraulic modeling of pipe networks, feasibility studies, infrastructure condition assessment and comprehensive master planning. He is an expert in database development and integration of GIS with hydraulic models, recycled water customer databases and asset databases. Jeroen has developed condition assessment programs and decision algorithms to support capital improvement planning and maintenance optimization for clients throughout the United States, gaining national recognition.
Improvements in technology have made it possible to generate and store tremendous amounts of data about almost everything, and water is no exception. However, it is not always clear how the larger volumes of data are improving our management of water resources and water-related infrastructure. At the end of the day, clients face the same basic questions:
These questions can be most effectively answered through a collaborative approach focused on decisions that need to be made, both in day-to-day operations and long-term planning. My passion is working with clients to document their unique challenges and opportunities, leverage their existing data sets and analytical tools and develop creative solutions to support sound decision making at all levels of the organization.
